canucks155
Unrealistic is so many ways. You think Ottawa is going to give up Zibanegad? He got drafted 6th overall. They will NEVER give him up, no matter who we offer. Also, nobody wants to sign here w/ the treatment of Luongo unless u give them a crap load of $. Plus you'd be awfull close to the cap and i dont think Ottawa wants Burr ($4.5m/year w/ 0 goals, no thanks says Ottawa.
Franz Liszt
Not bad but Edler said he wouldn't waive Thank you. I also don't think he'd waive, but he might as Ottawa is a slightly cheaper place to live, plus he played quite well with Erik Karlsson. We shall see. Unrealistic is so many ways. I think Ottawa would give up a young player for a proven defender and proven forward. Sure they're having off years, but I personally believe its the system. Burrows would play a lot better with 2 playmakers in Spezza and Hemsky while being that defensive forward for their line, plus Burrows would be a fan favorite for French Senators fans. I agree with the UFA part, as why I threw a ton of $$$ at each of the three. Moulson and Stastny would give is so much more offensive depth, while Niskanen would give us a puck mover we so desperately need. Besides, I don't think the Luongo situation would affect future UFAS, because they won't be signing 12 year deals.

It would be more realistic to say somebody like Lazar, Ceci, etc. Because i dont think they've played in the nhl yet and they weren't drafted as high. Plus Edler being the docuhe he is (can i even say that on this forum, i dont know) said he's not waiving his NTC. The FA part, we could only get Moulson because i think Niskanan is resiging and same w/ Stasny. But w/ Moulson, he could probably get EVEN more $ from another team who could actually contend. This deal wont happen unless Jay Feaster is at the other end of that phone...
