Congrats to the 100 AHL players that have made their NHL debut this season! The feat was completed when Nick Deslauriers, Tyler Wotherspoon & Vince Trocheck made their debuts last night. Remember that teams are only allowed 4 call-ups between the trade deadline and playoffs.

Martin Brodeur says he wants to play next season and although New Jersey ultimately held onto him as the trade deadline passed, he may not retire a Devil. Brodeur says "I just want to play more, be in the playoffs and have the chance to win the Stanley Cup." Brodeur had submitted a list of 8-9 teams at the deadline that he was willing to waive his NTC for but remained with the only team he's ever known as the goalie market dried up with teams going for the likes of Halak, Fasth & Bryzgalov instead.

Jaromir Jagr is the 2nd oldest player in NHL history to reach the 20-goal mark! Jagr reached his 18th 20-goal season at the age of 42 years and 20 days old. Only Gordie Howe has ever reached the 20-goal milestone later in life (42 years, 324 days old). Meanwhile, only 4 players have more 20-goal seasons than Jagr: Howe (22), Ron Francis (20), Brendan Shanahan (19), and Dave Andreychuk (19).

The Dallas Stars announce The Mike Modano Trophy, it will be presented annually to the Stars NHL regular season leader in points. It stands 5-foot-1 from the bottom of the walnut base to the tip and weighs approximately 140-pounds.

It also features a bronze plate with all 11 seasons Modano captured the point-scoring title for the Stars, another four brass plates on the back with the names of every Stars player in franchise history who finished with the most points prior to Modano and individual name plates of the trophy winners during and since Modano's storied career with the Stars.
