Have learned Zack Kassian's agent will not accept the #Canucks qualifying offer - he goes to camp essentially without a contract.

Wonder what the offer was? He hasn't shown anything to start requesting more money yet. He should take a one or two year offer and run with it, he can take that time to improve his game THEN ask for more money.

maybe he is wanting a 1 or two year deal but management wants longer term at a lower price then he would get after proving himself. Just think if he breaks out this year or next he could be looking at serious top 6 money. He probably know he is much better then the roles he was given to be able to showcase himself. Just depends how management sees him.

QO are based on a formula, Kassian was 10% increase still less than a million. Very normal for QO to be turned down, just means they need to negotiate a deal.

The whole going to camp without a contract is silly, that is 2 months away!
