Desjardins' Mustache
Hey guys thought I would make a some what realistic trade proposal that is great for both hockey clubs. We all know Kesler wants to go right? so this is when we ship him off to Anaheim. We also know that Alex Edler is pretty close friends with kesler. So assuming Edler waives his no trade clause, We ship him in that package as well as our fifth round draft pick in the up and coming 2014 NHL entry draft. So this is what I think will be a better move for our hockey clubs long term focus. Vancouver trades: Ryan Kesler, Alex Edler, and a fifth round pick in 2014 NHL entry Draft. Anaheim trades: There first round pick acquired from the Senators in Bobby Ryan trade, and Emerson Etem. Do guys think I made an over payment or under payment? Then what we do is Draft either William Nylander, Michael dal colle, Leon Draisaitl, or Nicholas Ritchie. All of these players can put up a high amount of points. The great thing is that all of these prospects Play the centre role except for Ritchie who plays LW. This meens we will have a future player that can eventually fill the roll of Keslers absence in the years to come. Thanks for reading, Hope you enjoyed canuck
Phil_314
For BOTH of our stars we get ONE 1st round pick and one winger? I'd rather get a center in return for Kes (and that's what MG has been asking for too). IF Edler does decide to waive we could get more back for each of them individually. canucks155
Fair in trade value but Etem is not going anywhere anytime soon. If you put in Theodore and Rakell in place of Etem, it could work.
elvis15
Holy Mother Mary of God that's terrible. Kesler and Edler and all we get back is a 1st and Etem?! It's not like that pick is a 1st overall, or even a top 3. At this point it's not even in the top 5, and it's not like it's for the 2015 draft. If Etem were a legit top prospect maybe, but he's not at the level he and a 1st can command both Kesler and Edler.
Pears
That might just be the worst trade I've seen. If we're offering that much we could at least get Silfverberg and Theodore as well. Terrible. Just terrible.
Wiznac
More like Kesler for etem and ottawas first and at least another prospect..... And it won't happen. There's not chance we trade Kesler to a west team like Anaheim unless we get a huge return

JiffyPB
Does Kesler and our 2nd rounder for Ottawa's 1st, Vatanen, and the Duck's 1st sound like a good deal?
MadOgre
No! Unless Gillis wants to become unemployed 5 minutes after he makes that trade. Maybe if, you multiply the return by 3 or

Pears
Does Kesler and our 2nd rounder for Ottawa's 1st, Vatanen, and the Duck's 1st sound like a good deal? If the Ducks were in the East or not in our division, I'd probably do it. It's just too risky trading a two-way star like Kesler to a powerhouse in our own division. Unless Philly or Pitts comes with the a better deal, I'd rather be haunted by Ryan for 10 years knowing I got multiple guys for him that can potentially haunt Anaheim for 20. BCRenegade
If you want to package Edler and Kesler, I'd rather move them to the east to Pittsburgh. Edler will not waive, but I think Pitts and Anahiem are the front runners for Kes this draft day.

L. Stanley
Kesler, 2nd, Labate Etem, Vatanen, OTT's 1st that is fair, Etem is a good prospect, but he is not an A prospect more of an A-, and its a weak draft. I'd draft Fleury and Mccann
L. Stanley
Kesler + our 2014 1st for Nyquist Sheahan 2nd draft all d men this draft future shinker - Sheahan - Nyquist Kassian - Horvat - Jensen Fox - Cassels - Gaunce Boom!
Alex Moran
Wow, that's just awful for us, I wouldn't move Kesler alone for that package.

I'd do that deal but we do need a 2C - I guess we could use santorelli and tank next year and the draft a future 1C
