Tom Sestito
He's regressed a bit in Utica. I'm a bit scared of him being here while we're still statistically in the race, because he's only going to play 8-13 minutes a game. Last time he was up, he didn't impress that much even still. I haven't watched the Comets play in a month or two, so I'd have to ask one of the Utica guys on HF if he's been impressive enough over the last month. One thing I do know, is that he plays with Kent Huskins in the AHL, and that's been great for him. I think we need to pair him up with Hamhuis, and then put Edler with Tanev. It's just the best option for us. Edit: Also to add, the Comets are 6 points back with 3 games in hand. They've made a remarkable run after starting 0-10 lol. You have to wonder if Subban gets a chance with Utica now.

hockeyville88
Bieksa didn't look too comfortable after that hit yesterday. How is it that Garrison has been our healthiest D man, and yet his performance has been amongst the worst!?
Boudrias
How pathetic! Split the most effective pairing by robbing Corrado up to a team who is done. Not only should he not be called up but Yensen should be sent down to help Utica make it into playoffs. When will this franchise ever get it together. -Vintage Canuck-
Wow, I don't ever recall the Canucks having this many injuries in a single season, just hasn't gone well from the start. If it's Bieksa who's out which is most likely, it's a good move as he's a right handed shot defenseman and has offensive skills where he can move the puck really well. Honky Cat
Corrados call up definitely puts up a red flag as far as Bieksa is concerned..I can remember Canuck seasons with injuries, but never one that only knocked out our top players..

I think the experience with the NHL team at the end of the season bodes well for his future, more so than playing in Utica would. I wouldn't be surprised if Jensen's AHL days are done. He will get sent back when the Canucks' season is over, but he's earned a spot on next year's roster with his play this season.Considering the Canucks supposedly cannot develop prospects, seeing one develop is a good thing. Boudrias
Sure it is a good indicator that Jensen has done well while with the Canucks. My point is all about extending the Utica season by giving them the best players to do that. The Canuck season is toast. Keeping him up and now calling Corrado up as well is extremely short sighted. I agree with you that Jensen will probably make the big club next fall but that is next fall. Getting 2 or 3 rounds of AHL playoffs would solidify his season especially because of his injury earlier this year.
Absent Canuck
I like Frankie. There are holes in his game but the talent and compete level are there. He is a keeper.
