gmen81
Via Craig Custance on TwitterWild have agreed to terms with college UFA defenseman Christian Folin (UMass-Lowell). Was most coveted college UFA on the market. Wonder if the Canucks were ever in the running. Never heard if they were or not.

gmen81
Couple tweets from Joe Meloni who covers Hockey EastThey're different players. Folin has more of an offensive game. A well-rounded player, though. Amazing skater. @dbekar81 He's a big kid. He's not going to run around hitting everyone. His brilliance is using his skating and puck skills to defend. Jordan Belfort
Wild seem to be the new Miami heat. Just wait until the summer when Vanek signs with the Wild as well. It just seems inevitable that Minnesota is going to become a power house. Brought in solid veterans and have tremendous youth coming in.

elvis15
The Canucks were supposedly a front runner last year, so I'd assume they were in the running this year. Can't make everyone we want sign with us though.

Jiggs50
the supposed Miami Heat that still aren't anywhere close to the top 3 in the west This. But if Granlund and Nino pan out as anticipated then the West is going to have a problem. Also not sure if Darcy Kuemper is the right fit going forward. Azzy Mahmood
Two years ago the Wild were possibly the most boring team in the league. Now they have Moulson (maybe being replaced by Vanek this summer), Pominville, Coyle, Suter, Niederreiter, Cooke and Brodin. They're a blossoming side that I always like to watch. Shows you what a quick turnaround you can have if you have the cohones to make changes.

DeltaSwede
It's a bummer that we didn't end up landing him, but at the same time, the guy is unproven and most of us really don't know if he is good or not. I'll admit to being over hyped about signing a guy i've not even heard about before and never watched play.

pinot blanc
Who wants to come to Vancouver when this mess is taking place. Poor performance on the ice, off the wall coach and poor management. Would you want to sign here? Only way is if the $$ were through the roof.
