Relyt Krets
Just some ideas. Could work, maybe unrealistic. But my ideas. 1) Vancouver gets: Emerson Etem Devante Smith-Pelley Rickard Rackell Ana 1st Rnd Pick Anaheim gets: Ryan Kesler Alex Burrows 2nd Rnd Pick 2) Vancouver gets: Gustav Nyquist Tomas Jurco Detroit Gets: Alex Edler Ana 1st Rnd pick Jannik Hansen Vancouver getting younger and freeing up cap space. Kesler is likely on his way out. Anaheim would get 2 solid players who can score, kill penalties and who can have chemistry with one another. Makes a good second line for that team. Vancouver gets a player in Etem who had chemistry with Shinkaruk in Major Junior. Rackell would be someone to be patient with but could be a low risk, high reward player. Smith-Pelley is a guy who could be a guy who can play top 6 and bottom 6 and all around 2 way player. In the second deal it was rumoroued this was offered by Detroit but nixed by Edler. If they can sway Edler then he can go play with his countrymen. Hansen needs a fresh start and let's face it, he isn't that great. He's more a roster dump to make room for the kids. Nyquist is showing huge promise, and Jurco also has shown he can play with the big boys. We get younger, clear cap and are siting pretty for the future. Not saying any of those moves will happen, or are realistic. But it would make us look pretty good. Sign a couple big name free agents and we look even better. That is if anyone wants to even talk to gillis...
LeanBeef
doubt Anaheim's gonna trade 3 of their top 8 prospects along with a first round pick for Kesler, an aging winger with a hefty contract coming off a horrible season with a second round pick. Plus, cap. Unless they're that desperate for a second line centre I doubt they'll do it.
canuktravella
Ducks dont want burrows but kesler for etem and sens 1st Would be nice Wings wont be trading nyquist unless u gave them horvat shinkaruk and edler for him Your proposals are off the mark
Pears
I like the ideas, but couple of adjustments: To Vancouver: Emerson Etem, Devante Smith-Pelly, Ott 1st To Anaheim: Ryan Kesler, Jordan Schroeder To Vancouver: Tomas Jurco, Anthony Mantha, 2014 2nd (1st if Detroit gets to the playoffs) To Detroit: Alexander Edler, Jannik Hansen, 2014 3rd No way Detroit trades Nyquist. I think these are a little more realistic. And in all honesty, I don't think Kesler goes to Anaheim unless Ottawa's first is included in the package.
