Dinger is the name of the Rockies mascot and what the fan says he was yelling out. As it turns out, the fan was instead yelling for Colorado's mascot "Dinger," trying to get its attention for a photograph with his family, according to the Rockies. "I haven’t talked to the Rockies, I haven’t talked to that fan personally — but if that’s the case, I’m sorry for any backlash or anything that he’s getting right now."
