I didn't even have to open the pic to know who it was. lol When Palacios was running towards the wall, for his first miss, I was thinking -Pillar, Devon White, Springer and a few others would have had that. Then to screw up in the eight, by again missing the ball. Edited August 28, 2021 by gurn

shiznak
I think the Jays are pretty much done. Vlad, Bo, and now Teoscar are all struggling at the plate. Starting pitching, aside from Ray has been mediocre, and the bullpen is still poop. EDIT: Just finished watching the highlights of the game. WTF was Palacios thinking on that play, at a time like that? I get making that dive in the middle innings, but the score was one-one in the goddamn bottom 8th. Also, if Montoya was planning on using Grichuk as a PH, in the 9th. Why wouldn’t you just make him a defensive sub in the bottom of the 8th? Gurn
Springer not starting in todays game.--- Just heard Buck say, when George comes back he'll likely end up as D.H. for remainder of year. He is going to 'owe' the Jays an extra year on his contract.

Mj2345
Springer tweaked something so they took him out of the game, he didn’t seem happy that they took him out
Gurn
Pull McGuire .268 to put in pinch hitter Kirk hitting .264. A couple of big mistakes cost this game. Real shame as Ryu had a no hitter through 5 and 2/3 innings. A seeing eye just inside the line single and thre goes the no-no. But Semien messed up on the next play and the team just never recovered their mojo.
Beary Sweet
Jays pick up a big win tonight. They win another series and they have a big series ahead against the A’s who are battling for a WC spot as well. Need to find a way to win the series or sweep

Nice when it's the other team's bullpen blowing it for a change. Even with their ups and downs this year, the Jays have been fun to watch. Lots to be optimistic about going forward regardless of whether they make the playoffs this season. 1

Wilbur
Only able to follow todays game on line. A's have hit 3 batters, are they exacting their pound of flesh for yesterday?

To the point of the A's pitcher apologizing as the batters moved to first base.
