Some fan in Houston is going WOOOOOOO each time Astros are up to bat it’s so damn loud and annoying

650 played the game, and that noise was just as irritating on the radio.  At least, though, there weren’t any garbage cans being smashed sounds.  1 smash for fast ball; two for off speed.

Would likely have had a World Series ring if the strike hadn't happened too.  That team was stacked.

Can't believe he wasn't already in.

Jays really needed 3 out of 4 against the Yanks and they've already done it with a game to spare.  Tomorrow's game is gravy but it'll still be nice to win and sweep the Yanks at home.

Felt a bit bad for Manoah there....one bad pitch to Gardiner and he loses out on the W....

Still, it's nice to see the Jays come back right away and retake the lead. Shatkins moves for Cimber and Richards are looking really good right now, even if the Brad Hand deal didn't work out.

I still would have liked to see a left handed power bat at the deadline, but the bottom line is that the Jays aren't losing every time they get into their bullpen in a close game. Now they have Pearson available as well and it's sounds like Merryweather is close and maybe Stripling as well....

Tonight the Jays have Jose Berrios on the mound against Nestor Cortes Jr. Cortes' stats aren't particularly impressive, (7-4, 4.86) but he's only given up 4 hits in his last three starts. (averaging 2 runs over 6 innings)

If things go the way they have been for both teams, we should see a bit of a pitcher's duel....
