Brad Marchand
I thought to myself on Monday that if the Blue Jays swept the Yankees, they'd be just a half game back in the Wild Card race. Well look what they just did.
Popular Post shiznak
The Jays are the first team since 1908, to sweep the Yankees at home, while never trailing once in those games. 2 1 1

I sure hope they can sign Robbie Ray. By all accounts he likes it in Toronto so one would hope if the Jays give him a competitive offer he'll stay. Don't get me wrong I want Semien back too, but I feel his bat would be easier to replace than Ray's arm.
Down by the River
I feel like the Orioles are to the Jays what backup goalies are to the Canucks. Two bases loaded situations and they come up empty after dummying the A's/Yankees.

shiznak
It seems like it’s going to come down to the last day of the regular season. While both the Yankees and Red Sox loss. The A’s and Mariners won. So, they’re right on the Jays’ heel. Need to capitalize on this series, considering the next series is against the Rays.

That just goes to show how a small defensive error can change a game.... ....if Merryweather picks up the Mullins bunt cleanly, Santander never comes to the plate and it's still 3-3, instead of 6-3.... RUPERTKBD
Double header today. Ryu gets the start in game 1 and SNET is reporting that Thomas Hatch will take the mound in the second game... The boys really need both ends, after losing with their best starter yesterday...
RUPERTKBD
BTW, does anyone else think that the collision between Gurriel and the O's pitcher looked intentional on the pitcher's part? Either way you look at it, that was abad hit....

RUPERTKBD
Another huge win for the Jays....Not quite as dramatic as the win over the A's, but pretty close.... Now they need to take the second half of the double dip...
RUPERTKBD
Gurriel with the biggest celebration after Springer's HR....because he knows he fracked up, assuming he had gone deep and ending up stretching a double into a single...
