Texas beat NYY 15-2 Today

The Chisox finally got a win against the Rays too.....unfortunately, the Orioles and Red Sox both won...

No breaks for the Jays when it comes to the schedule...4 games coming up at Fenway followed by 3 games in Pittsburgh, 2 in Philly and then back home for Atlanta, the Yankees and the Orioles....

Compared to the Rays schedule so far this is ridiculous.  Sounds stupid this early, but if the Jays want to win the division they just can't be winning series they have to sweep series' against below 500 teams.

Edit:  Tied for 5th best record in the entire major leagues....a distant 3rd in their own division.

Jays bullpen has been very bad the last few games. It has cost them some wins and tonight looks to be another one to slip away. They need to be better, enough said.

The bullpen is still not good enough to be a playoff contender so management has to find a way to improve it.

New management would be a better solution.  I have no faith left in this group after they failed to address the issues last year despite having a logjam at catcher.

If I'm Schneider, I'm thinking very seriously at telling every player (except Bo and Chapman) that they have to take a strike...

Never seen so much soft contact on first pitches in my life....:picard:

Springer is driving me nuts lately. I love the guy, but for god sakes, just go one AB without a fly ball right to the defence on the first pitch...

We’re going to need like 2 or 3 airline attendants to clean up Bass’ mess :bigblush:

Send that bum on a plane to the middle of nowhere. DFA his ass.

Jays look lost now and are really slumping.  Have to regroup for the next series.

Bad time for the rotation and the pen to slump (not that there's ever a good time).....Lose 3 in a row to a division rival....meanwhile, the Rays just keep winning....

Jays' best pitcher is on the bump tonight....need to salvage something from this series, so hopefully Gausman gets some run support for a change....Game starts an hour early today, BTW....

Well this game is really going well smh…we’re in serious danger of getting swept in 4 games to Boston..

Pathetic and embarrassing. Unbelievable.

This looks to be the worst baseball the Jays have ever played in a series. They sucked in all aspects of the game, starting pitching, relief pitching, defense, hitting with risp, manager decisions, and all of the fundamentals. Schneider needs to read the players the riot act and give them hell.

I think they've lost the division already.  They're lucky there are 4 wild card teams.  Crazy to think that the entire American League east could make the playoffs.

3 game series in Pittsburgh starting at 3:35pm pacific Today, the Pirates lead their division but I believe have lost 4 straight(were just swept by Tampa)…this will be an interesting..

Jays win, but so did every other AL East team except the Yankees, who only lost because they were playing Tampa.

This division is @#$^#$ insane.

Was a problem for the whole team, at times, last year.

play by play guys "It's ok to swing at the first pitch"

Audience ' Yes, if you actually hit the ball, it is fine; if you don't' maybe start taking one or two, to at least tire the pitcher out."
