I know luck is part of the game. But the percentage of times that a play like that happens at that time in the game is very low.

Just saying they're very lucky to have the lead right now.

which is true..I honestly didnt think they would come back but Ill take a W anyway it comes.

This ump squeezed Buehrle in the first but Holland seems to have free reign

Absolutely terrible job of calling balls and strikes last night. The ump (Mike Estabrook) must be a graduate of the Jim Joyce Academy for umpires....

Okay, that's just lucky. Routine play the guy makes 9 times out of 10 and he throws wide.

Probably more like 99 times out of 100. Adrian Beltre is one of the best defensive 3rd basemen ever.

That error just further proves that the Jays have some kind of destiny on their side. Not only do they get the win, but virtually everyone chasing them lost last night.

Can't watch the entire game tonight (I have a game of my own to play) but a word of caution before we chalk up another W for Price. The Rangers are one of those teams that give Price trouble. He only has 10 career starts against them, but his ERA is over 5.

Couple that with Colby Lewis starting for Texas (10-2 in his last 15 starts) and we could have another barn burner on our hands tonight. Might be that we'll need some more of that destiny stuff...

The Yanks and 'Stros have a day game today, so we'll already know their result before the Jays take the field in Arlington.

When JD hit that ground ball to Beltre I somehow had a feeling it might be the right time for an error...JD hustling out of the box...game on the line..Beltre hurrying his throw..worked out well.

For anybody that watched Sportsnet Central, do you hate Eric Gagne as much as I do? Lots of guys juiced, but not many guys got so sh*tty after they stopped juicing. Once he got caught his career was basically done. Technically, yeah, he still has the consecutive saves record but to me that's one record that really doesn't mean squat. At least guys like Bonds and A-Rod (for the record, I'm a big A-Rod fan) were putting up numbers before steroids and, in the case of Rodriguez, continued to afterwards.

Also, this is hilarious for those who haven't seen it. An old Conan clip but a good one
