Guess Gibbons listened to you.

1. Ben Revere (L) LF

2. Josh Donaldson ® 3B

3. Jose Bautista ® RF

4. Edwin Encarnacion ® DH

5. Troy Tulowitzki ® SS

6. Russell Martin ® C

7. Justin Smoak (S) 1B

8. Kevin Pillar ® CF

9. Ryan Goins (L) 2B

Lord, help us if Gibbons is getting lineup advice from the CDC. Although I could see Beane doing it to try something unconventional.

That Shakesy is a really smart guy for an old fart. :P

Did Shaky say that as well? I must have missed that... Oh well, always room for another smart, old guy. ;)

BTW, I was watching the Yankees game when the guy fell. They had just sent A-Rod up to pinch hit. He was walking up to the batter's box when John Sterling said "Oh my gosh, someone just fell from the upper deck!" The play continued, as nobody on the field even noticed that it had happened.

After the at-bat, the TV crew cut to a quick shot of some stadium personnel and EMTs working on the injured man, although he was just at the opening of a tunnel and you couldn't see him at all.

Later that night, they said that he had passed away. Sad news and likely a catalyst for some new safety measures at sporting events.

Glad it wasn't captured on film, if I recall correctly, this I'd the second incident like this at Turner field in recent memory(last 3-5 years)

It wasn't captured by the YES crew, but in this age of information, one wonders if a cell phone video won't show up on Liveleak at some point...

For his family's sake, I hope not.

Especially for the family, but even just the decency of humans, it's something I know I'd never want to see or have my children witness.

3rd death in 8 years, sounds like the guy stood up to boo A Rod coming to the plate, leaned over too far and took a header onto the walkway below.
