Green Building
Martin hasn't been that bad. Christ guys, he's just a shade under his Majors batters average this year. Hell, just yesterday I noticed yet again how he focuses in on pitches at the plate, and has decent at bats that force pitchers to make good pitches. He pretty much comes as advertised: good catcher, decent batter.

Green Building
He hit .138 in the month of August. That's pretty bad. Ah $&!#. Well if you wan't to go by the numbers. I honestly did not realize his August was that low. What some of you see as frustration or whatnot i see as focus and/or determination rather that a deer in the headlights type. Overall, my bad, 0.138 is pretty pathetic. Some of us could probably do at least that.
Jiggs50
He hit .138 in the month of August. That's pretty bad.Yeah he struggled mightily but it went under the radar cause the Jays were winning. He'll pick it up. Add Price and Tulo midseason and that's a lot of diamond rats.
Gurn
Martin is a very good catcher, decent offense and a likeable team player. Keep him. He will bump his batting slump and continue to provide great defense, and character.
Down by the River
The thing is I really like Martin, I just think he needs a mental break. Don't keep him on the sidelines permanently, just let him step back.
Down by the River
With expanded rosters, does getting to pitchers early or forcing a team to go to its bullpen often mean that the long-term benefits over a series are no longer there? Or, do expanded rosters simply water-down the talent, and making a team go to its bullpen in game 2 of a series will benefit the Jays in game 4 of a series?
