KFBR392
Wasn't the wait list like 5-7 years?Even assuming a huge amount of people abandon ship, I bet you're still looking at a multiple year wait.
elvis15
Never mind what forum this thread should go into, you should just go to the main Canucks site and check out the page dedicated to season ticket sales. http://canucks.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=39568 But as has been said, people have been waiting for years to get season tickets. This isn't the 80s where you can walk up and get them right away.
Grapefruits
As people have said, there is a huge waiting list. Look into get ice packs or flex packs, if those are still offered.

jovocop55
since the schedule is not out yet, half season, ice pak and other tickets packages are not bought yet..
SergioMomesso
Just put an add on craigslist or kijiji wanting to buy it split season tix. Never know. Maybe someone wants a year off and is willing to sell his/her seats for a little more than face value.
tas
the wait list was reportedly 7 years calculated at a renewal rate of 98%. at that rate, only 340 people get off the list per year. that makes for a total wait list of about 2400 people. renewals this year have reportedly dropped to 90-95% (and i'm pretty skeptical of those numbers, so let's say 92%). that means that instead of 340 out of 2400 people getting off the list, 1360 out of 2400 get off the list. if you forecast the same renewal rate for next year, you're essentially down to a 1 year waiting list overnight. Gstank29
I view season tickets as an investment because your going to have get though the "tough years" to be able to make it worth your while (if you are trying to make a profit). I would also say if you have enough money to get season tickets, get them because it may be the only chance you get because if the team starts winning again your going to have troubles getting tickets, let alone season tickets ( kind of like 2010-2013) without paying a fortune. sharnhayre
I lucked out and got in right after the 2004 lockout. I just keep upgrading my seats as my priority number goes up with the _% not renewing every year. I won't be letting go of my tickets
DonaldBrashear
Anyone hear anything about all the construction at Rogers Arena? I guess they are going full on all summer long. It will be interesting to see how the new concourse and restaurants look. Hopefully they have better food options. More bathrooms will be really nice! grandmaster
Why would anyone that is not wealthy want to pay for this? In this day and age of big screen high def TV's, it's not worth the over priced tickets, beer and parking. It is also less hassle not having to line up to use the urinals or grabbing a bite. Oh and let's no forget that idiot drunk that spills his beer or gets into a fight around you! No, thanks!
Pride
the reported 7 year wait list was rather generous. It is (or was) much longer than that.

Russianfan
How are people able to afford such luxuries? Season tickets are what $4000 a seat, if you want to buy most people buy 2 seats that is what $8000? You saying you got $8000 in disposable cash income to throw down on tickets? Where do you get that kind of money? You have to make $14,000 of pre-tax income to get $8000 a year, hell I am 30 and my rent is $800 a month, you think that $8000 is a fair value for just entertainment? How are people my age 20-30 years old suppose to have season tickets if you charge so much for them?
