Angry Goose
WSH desperately needs to make the playoffs next year and to do that they need a proven 2 way forward to help them. Ovie aint getting younger or any better at D so why not make a major push this off season? WSH trades for: Kesler VAN on the other hand could use some future pieces while Kesler's value is still relatively high, and before he becomes an UFA VAN aquires Troy Brouwer prospect (feel free to discuss) draft pick? Both Brouwer and Kesler have 2 years left on their deal, and the other pieces balance out the exchange. Not sure if Kesler would ever waive or if the future Canuck GM would entertain a Kesler trade but hey who knows. If Kesler were available one team that could definitely use him (an obtain a real difference maker) would be Washington.
Tom Sestito
Burakovsky?
Alex Moran
Unless that 'prospect' is Kuznetsov I pass with ease.
Tom Sestito
Unless that 'prospect' is Kuznetsov I pass with ease. I'm pretty enticed by the 1st really. The difference right now bw ANA (ott) and Washington's picks is only four spots. I've thought that Johansson + Burakovsky + a 1st would be a good return, but then again I'm six years old. But zero interest in accepting a deal for Kesler in which Troy Brouwer is the centre piece.

I'm not sold on Johansson, but I'm one of those people who believes we need to start moving on. Kesler is open to it, so I really hope the new GM jumps on the opportunity. He is a very good 2 way winger , produces on the PP, and in his prime. Of course he is not Kesler but he gives the Canucks a gritty scoring winger that can finish unlike Booth. Many teams would covet a guy like him + a top prospect or high draft pick? Makes the Canucks top end prospect depth that much better

Pears
We could more than likely get that for Edler if we added a touch on to him. I'd puke if Brouwer was the main piece coming back for Kesler.

Not that Brouwer is terrible or anything, but if Kesler moves I want high end, offensive prospect talent coming back. They aren't giving Kuznetsov, so we can probably cross that off the list. Tom Wilson probably falls in that untouchable group as well. Maybe something like this if we were moving Kesler to them: Orlov Burakovsky 1st It'd depend on if we see another move with a defenceman going out as possible, since there'd be no need to bring another in otherwise. Maybe Johansson in Orlov's place if not, or Grabovski (pending UFA) and another prospect like Madison Bowey on top of Burakovsky and the 1st.
