Boudrias
Currently Van is tied with Carolina at 81 points but they get the 6th pick because they have played one more game. If all remaining games were lost how is the tie breaker determined?
Mackcanuck
The first tiebreaker is ROW wins CAR has 33 ROW wins VAN has 30 ROW wins This puts CAR at the #7 Pick second tiebreaker is the season series If VAN loses in regulation to EDM tonight and CGY tomorrow, we would finish with the #6 overall Pick, and a 6.2% chance at winning the lottery pick. nuck in cow town
It will come down to ROW (Regulation/Overtime wins) and since Carolina has more we would finish sixth thus getting the higher draft pick.

MJDDawg
This will be the first time in my life I'll be cheering loudly for every Oiler and Flames goal this weekend. If the Canucks lose both games, I'll be ecstatic with the high pick. At the beginning of the season, realistically I thought this team would make the playoffs but thought they would likely go out quickly in the first round. Not making it and getting such a high pick is such a bonus and makes having to go through this season of pain worthwhile.
Goat James
With our luck we'll probably end up winning these last two games...
Losing With Pride
Yeah we will end up winning both games and losing the lottery to a team behind us and end up with an awful pick.

If we made the playoffs I don't think the team would have went very far. I'm pretty satisfied if the Canucks get a top 6 pick.

Brocklovich
If they lost does that mean they can draft no lower than 6th or if they don't win the lottery they draft 6th? I thought they drew all the bottom 10 with different % of chance to land X pick, could we not get completely screwed over and be worse than carolina and they end up as lucky pigs and get a top 3 pick?
