J.I.A.H.N
Well lets try and make this work! To Buffalo 2014 first Round pick (6th over all) Brendan Gaunce 2015 first Round pick (unknown) Rights to Tanev To Vancouver 2015 first Round Pick ( possible top 5 pick) Why Buffalo does it? Buffalo gets alot of asset and still has 2016 first round to pick up the super star Why Vancouver does it? There is no way Buffalo gets out of the basement for several years, so it gives us a hell of a good chance to pick up that elite centerman Take out Tanev and I would do something like this for this years second over all??? Maybe!
From.The.Point
So we give up this years first (6th) next years first (unknown) , Gaunce (former first) , Tanev (one of our better dmen) PASS!
J.I.A.H.N
Good Morning I found this link on TSN that shows the percentages of a first round pick turning out and what their potential skill level will be. For those that haven't read it, it is very insightful and part of the reason for my post. http://www.tsn.ca/blogs/scott_cullen/?id=398986
MRAY
Nah, wont see this happening. I think we'd be better off with a bunch of prospects than one amazing prospect, atleast right now. Also, we're not giving Tanev up, hes our best young dmen for years to come.
J.I.A.H.N
Also this link can be used to value current players and trades that involve draft picks for players and picks....kind of puts a different value on some of our trades.....mine included! canucks155
By far the most realistic trade to Buffalo I've seen. Take Tanev out and I would consider it.
Phil_314
Thanks for that. VAN E. Kane WPG 6th It'd be intriguing if that was all it took to get him for sure, but we'd have to figure out the salary situation. I would definitely want to play him with Hank to bring back that offensive style that the team wants to play. Kane - Hank - Jensen/ Burr Danny - Kes - Kass Higgins - Matthias - Burr/ Hansen Archibald/ Zalewski - Richardson - Hansen/ Dalpe Then trade Booth + for Liles for PP QB and to shed salary. Booth may have rebounded late in the season but J.M.L. is no slouch offensively. With these pairings they can each play ~20 minutes/ night to stay fresh. Hammer - Juice Liles - Garrison Edler - Tanev Stanton, Weber
