SabreFan1
A couple originally from Ohio were in love and married for 70 years, had 8 children and enjoyed a happy and wonderful life. What made it even more special in the end is that when the man's wife died recently, he gathered 24 of his relatives around him and he himself laid down and passed away the next morning. I couldn't even imagine how close you would have to be to somebody that when they went away in life that you could actually just decide to pass away yourself because you could not imagine life without that person. Tangelos
Props to them. Usually the physical attraction just goes away once couples reach their 50s, but they stuck together til the bitter end.

Horny Manatee
That's beautiful. I know young love gets a lot of attention but I always smile when I see senior couples being affectionate. I was at Tim Hortons and this couple in their 70s came in. The man, even though he had a cane he needed to walk in, pulled out the seat for the woman and waited for her to sit down before he did. And they were holding hands the whole time. I was bursting on the inside from the squeals I couldn't release. He was probably cheating on his real wife. D-Money
Many elderly people pass away relatively soon after their spouse. It's a tough life change for anyone, which is just compounded in old age.
