Bobby_Lu1ngo
I really think the best trading partners are edmonton and nashville for a weber deal. Nashville needs scoring and have tons of d, likely would prefer out of weber contract after missing playoffs. To nashville: Eberle edmonton 1st 2014 Edmonton 2nd 2015 To edmonton: Shea weber
canucks155
I think this would work if u changed ebs to yak. Edm likes ebs. And if u changed the 2nd to a 1st.
YEGCanuck
I would agree with you, but I am hope Shea Weber does not end up in the Pacific division.
TheRussianRocket.
Nashville would want A LOT more. Since they matched the offer sheet to Weber that Philly sent, majority of the money was in the first few years. If they were to trade Shea, they'd want a definitive offer as a big chunk of money they've already gave him and the new team wouldn't have to give as much in comparison. Greene02
The Oilers would have to add one of Petry, Marincin or Schultz. The Preds would want a body coming back on defense. You can't just add Eberle and subtract Weber, and expect to be a better team. Plus, the difference between Eberle and Weber for the Oilers would likely be moving out of the bottom 10 of the league. So that would drastically change the value of the picks being moved.
Madness
Nashville wouldn't do it.

I would say take on another bad/expensive contract from Nashville, but I can't think of any right now.

Bobby_Lu1ngo
Probably right about needing a dman back too. But remember the philly offrr sheet would have been 5 firsts. Nothing that helps right away like ebs. Eberle marincin 2014 1st 2015 2nd would probably work. Remember ebs has long term deal at like 6 mill too.
