Nucks-4-Life
I think this is a new standard we should set, especially for picks in the first 2 rounds. Within 5-7 years we will have a strong, Canadian team built for the playoffs. Thoughts?

FireGillis
And we can hire Don Cherry to coach these good old canadian boys from the farm too!
TheRussianRocket.
We can also draft Canadians under 5'11" We can also draft Euros over 6' We can also draft Euros under 5'11" We can also draft players exactly 6' (I don't even know why I wasted my time posting that lel )

Also I hear that Malkin guy sucks in the playoffs. The last 3 Conn Smythe winners also all don't make the OP's cut since they're American. Kane is also too short. Dogbyte
Meh, if you're going to go that route it's the best possible one. You would still have a good team. Also, don't mind trying to build an identity. I was watching champions league yesterday and Real Madrid just makes me sick. You never know which superstar is going to dress, who is going to get traded from year, or who the hell is on your team. It's boring.
Nino
Relax I think this is a joke and the op is trolling us all.

VMR
So having 3 or 4 new people at 6 or more feet will make us a better playoff team?I guess we don't need skill.

hsedin33
So go the Boston 2011 route you mean? I'll admit I would like to see a Canadian team (aka the Canucks) with this many Canadians on it.
Gollumpus
So, in other sporting discussion: does anyone believe that the SF Giants can continue their run of sucking one year and winning the World Series in the next? They should win it all this year if they stay true to form. regards, G.
Nucks-4-Life
You guys may think I'm joking, but look at most of the guys having an impact in the playoffs right now...big Canadian boys. I'm not knocking on the skills of Russians, Swedes, etc. There are some amazing skill players there. I'm just saying that this would be a relatively simple mantra for Linden to pass down to his GM and scouting staff.

Malkin Cookies
If only Sestito was Canadian then he would be perfect for OP!
