Yup cause passing on Landeskog to go with the tall Canadian worked well for the Oilers. Also I hear that Malkin guy sucks in the playoffs.

The last 3 Conn Smythe winners also all don't make the OP's cut since they're American. Kane is also too short.

I'm not knocking on the skills of Russians, Swedes, etc. There are some amazing skill players there.

I'm just saying that this would be a relatively simple mantra for Linden to pass down to his GM and scouting staff.
