cowboy644
Just asking Canuck fans that watch either Center Ice on Shaw or Game Center how they like their hockey package.I have had Center Ice before on Bell and I saw every game in a season. My question is does Shaw show all?I ask the same question to those who have used Game Center. AllEyezOnMe
Got the best package shaw has to offer including center ice and didn't have to pay a cent.
BCNeil
Shaw shows all. The only improvement I would like, is for them to include the post game interviews. Some of the games, as soon as the 3rd period ends, the channel goes black in about 20 seconds. Im in telus tho Keep in mind the new NHL TV deal kicks in next season - no more TSN games. Both national and regional games will be on Sportsnet only, with the exception of the HNIC games on CBC. Not sure how/if Sportsnet One will fit into that but I imagine it will.
Tearloch7
I live in PG .. have the complete Shaw package and pay about $200.00 extra every year for Centre Ice pack.. it does not include games that CBC and TSN have the rights too, but that will change after this year. Mostly correct. Not all of the regional blackouts wil be lifted next year. Just the games that are shown on Wednesdays, Satrudays and Sundays. Some of them will be shown nationally anyway. Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri regional games will still be blacked out, unless you get Centre Ice.

BertaNuck
I live in calgary and get center ice every year, I get every game. The only thing that grinds my gears is it does not always have it in sportsnet HD, sometimes i am forced to watch it In standard definition or watch it in HD through the opponent teams broadcast. Try this: http://www.thestar.com/sports/hockey/2013/11/26/nhl_signs_12year_broadcast_deal_with_rogers_cbc_keeps_hockey_night_in_canada.html FYI in digging up this link I read a few blogs that were writtten right after the announcment that got this wrong. The NHL has stated there "will be no further regionaization" of NHL games in Canada. Some mis-interpreted this to mean no more blackouts.

The NHL has stated there "will be no further regionaization" of NHL games in Canada. Some mis-interpreted this to mean no more blackouts. that article says the agreement ends regionization and local blackouts. the wednesday, saturday and sunday aspect seems to be the days they have exclusive rights to broadcast any game involving a canadian team. so, that article told me nothing to make me believe there will still be blackouts at all. It is absolutely nuts that a Canadian provider would choose to show the oppenets HD feed over the local teams. All the PSortnset games have been in HD for a few years now, too. I would complain, a lot.

I would complain, a lot. i've used center ice for 7 or 8 years and haven't had this issue. since hd has become prominent, the only games i've seen in sd are from regional broadcasters for small market teams that presumably haven't spent the money on hd equipment. every canucks game i've seen on center ice in that timeframe has been the hd sportsnet feed.
