I will play devils advocate on this one and catch the hate. We need to be careful of switching the rules this late in the draft. We already denied Primals request to change Eddie Lack to a backup from the staters list by a 2-1 BOG vote. If we didn't change that little rule then it looks bad to let somebody drop a player to re-pick another one. The risk was that Sobotka wasn't signed at the time he was selected and that falls upon that GM. I'm eagerly awaiting the re-signing of DSP, Krug and Vatanen and if they bolt to the KHL then that is on me and I will have to make due with those draft choices.
