Its nice to see that our Sabres are able to stay on the Top 3 of the League even without a Starting Goalie.

That show´s us that we have Drafted a good Team ... i ll thank my AGM Sergei Bobrovsky again.

With Rinne out the Sabres are in negotations with a unsigned FA Goalie who could help us a little bit untill Pekka returns.

Ahh; some things, even in a so so year make you feel good!

Barkov with a 3 point night! :):)

So many inquiries for Alecsander... One or two offers actually pretty good? Not most. <_< It has taken some patience with him having a slow start.

The sign of great things to come!!! :towel:

The Winnipeg Jets place D Jordan Leopold on waivers for purpose of assignment to the Manitoba Moose.

Recall Alex Petrovic!

And congratulations Alex Petrovic, with an assist & his first points of the year on today's game winning goal! :towel:

Edit: Who has Anton Lander? 3 point night for the Oilers... And also a 3 point night for his linemate, Matt Fraser!

::D

I gotta say, I've really been learning some things about being a GM in a keeper league. I'm sure many of us are at this point, but there's some draft decisions that could have gone a different direction for me.

I don't have many options right now roster wise.

Hell, whenever I call someone up or send them down it seems to backfire.

When I had Strait on my roster, he did nothing. I send him down and he gets points.

When I had Varone in the minors he got points, then I call him up and he does nothing.

I can say the same about Grigorenko, but Grigs didn't spend a lot of time in the NHL anyways, so that's not a big loss. He's playing well in the AHL right now.

Same as Robak. I had Robak in the AHL and missed out on some points, then called him up and got nothing from him. Can say the same about Goloubef.

Me too. Its not all bad when you have players you can choose and can place on your roster. Some of that sounds like a good problem. When its a young guy you expect to make it you are toggling to get in and out of your line up. Only some unfortunately.

I know I drafted a few fringe players, because they would be "on the roster." And passed on some good prospects. My fringe players haven't even all stayed on the roster. And the prospects I passed on to get them (see Severson who was on my list) are tearing it up. And even some of my own prospects drafted later are starting to take their place (see Petrovic / Leopold).

BPA baby...

Honestly not sure where this value lines up but I'm looking to get a 1st round pick for 3 - 2nd round picks..

Currently I have:

Pit 2nd (32nd overall)

ANA 2nd (40th overall)

NSH 2nd (51st overall)

If I can get into the even earlier picks I will trade my NSH 1st round pick (21st overall) as well.

Anybody interested in something like this ?

Sorry I didn't update the past few days, University applications are more time consuming than I initially suspected.

Do you want help with updates and stuff? Not suggesting relinquishing any powers as player agent or commisioner. Just feed in line-up changes and checking them against cap and IR status etc. Also update trades, but only once they are posted as approved by the league office..

It will help keep flow to both interest and trade discussions.

I should be able to do this tonight and keep updates smooth so it shouldn't be a problem.
