Wow! We'll see how this travels.

Kimmo Timonen and Hextall had a presser before last nights Philly game. Kimmo now has the medical clearance to start skating. He'll start skating by himself tomorrow.

And of course the intent is to try and come back in the next few weeks.

The Jets have missed you.

Best of luck regardless! :towel:

25 days until the trade deadline.

Time for some teams to list what they are looking for, what they need to sell etc.

I'm expecting most bottom 12 teams to be offering their expiring contracts because they likely won't be re-signing with your team.

I have the EHL deadline on March 29th, should I mirror the NHL.

TRADECENTRE: The Pittsburgh Penguins looking to sell!

Pending UFA's Brooks Orpik, Tyler Kennedy, and Patrick Kaleta all could be had for teams looking for rental players. In addition, veterans David Legwand, Chris Phillips, and Jakub Kindl can be moved. Hoping to acquire pieces that will help me out next year.

I am open to discussions with some of my core players such as Patrick Marleau, Jason Demers, Jannik Hansen, and Michael Del Zotto, but that doesn't mean I am going to move them. I would like to see quality in return, rather than quantity (ie I do not want an okay prospect, a prospect that will never make the NHL, and a pick that is another 4-5 years away).

Finally I am looking to swap one of my young NHL defenceman in return for a young forward of equal value.

The Trade Center Reports: The Winnipeg Jets are neither dedicated buyers, nor sellers. But are looking for hockey deals!

TSN Reprter Droopy Dreger quoted Jets GM Canuck Surfer;

"The Jets are in a bit of a tight spot. We are very close to the play off race. So that should remain a goal?''

Dreger noted they had a bit of a tough start and a lot of our guys are not on deep play off rosters to make them a contender this year even if they made it. But have enough good young players they should be be contending as early as next year if they do not blow it up.

They may look at moving one veteran or one or two prospects suggested Dreger. Which one would depend more on the buyers needs? We think Marty, as in Marty St Louis, might like to take a look at a move to a top contender this year. If so, the price would be two solid young prospects or young players.

"What we would like to say is we have a good cap situation, all our draft picks and a willingness to work with buyers as long as we can add to our young depth! Tell us what players and what situation helps your team!"

"Lets talk a deal said Surfer," grabbing his board out to catch a wave before heading to Tampa to scout Anaheim versus Lightning Sat night!
