Intoewsables
So now that I have taken him I'm curious where people had Gustav Nyquist ranked ? We know we took him a little earlier then he would have gone but his PPG last season put him exactly where we took him.. Curious if anybody was close to taking him at the time I did ? I highly doubt he'll be able to maintain the pace he was on at the end of last season, but you're picking up a really good, young top-6 forward on a dirt cheap contract for another season. Might be a bit off the board but you could certainly do a lot worse. We're still in discussions to move pick 89. Should have a decision by later today. Primal Optimist
So now that I have taken him I'm curious where people had Gustav Nyquist ranked ? We know we took him a little earlier then he would have gone but his PPG last season put him exactly where we took him.. Curious if anybody was close to taking him at the time I did ? For me he wouldn't be on my list until down around 11th to 15th round, but clearly would be gone by then. Hadn't crossed my mind until you took him, but it was a shrewd pickup, if he can produce and is kept in a position to capitalize on the talent around him. ((like a former canuck prospect that was moved out, I get leery of supposed top end talent that scores more goals than assists...there is no science to it, just a gut feeling that often they are improved by those around them)) his price is right, his team is right, and his production is right, so its a great pick, but one that surprised me. Primal Optimist
With the 88th overall pick Nashville is proud to select from Kladno, Czech Republic. Jakub Voracek Now this pick on the other hand was in my sights for the next 3 rounds, was debating taking him if my other choices were gone by my next pick. Primal Optimist
EVERYBODAAYYY ROCK YOUR BODAAYY BAERCHEESE BACK ALRIGHT with that the Philadelphia Flyers will take Stamkos' favorite LW, ONDREJ PALAT LOL, just glanced down at my pad with ten years of top ten draft picks written on it, ...just one paper of many...and under neath his draft years list of ten i wrote about a month ago: "Noteworthy: Andrej Palat"....i guess he won't fall as far as i had hoped. EDIT: I think now is the point in the draft where almost every pick will be a guy most of the 30 of us wanted.
gmen81
A lot of good players going. Surprised some players I have my eye on are still on the board. Not holding my breath that they will last when it's my turn to pick.

TheRussianRocket.
Just want to get this out there that this is probably the best draft I've ever done. So many intelligent guys on here and picks are being made looking at all angles. The average draft you'd have the veteran guys go early and the upcoming guys later but this is just the opposite and wonderful. Can just tell by the picks that all teams know what they are doing. ...and any input on drafting Schwartz 83rd?

I figured Palat could be a little cheaper on his new deal+ he plays on the PK as well.

I know I talk a lot, haha...morning coffee and the internet are my thing, so if it seems i ahve an opinion on everything, I do. ; p I had Schwartz on the ten noteable St Louis players watch..won't detail where, and I had St Louis on the Ten Most Notable teams watch, lastly, 6 of those guys have been picked already, so you likely did well from my perspective. Yeah, I know...i should take time off hockey for prawn but meh, its early.
AriGold
Krug will bump you up another 4ish to 19ish Yeah, I'm thinking a bridge contract. 4.25M for 2 or 3 years is what I'm guessing he gets from Boston..
