WSA does have a point, I guess I can't be all grinch, lol. Suppose a trade happens in the last hour of a count down, I wouldn''t begrudge the new owner of the pick a couple extra hours.

well if you're trading for a pick with an hour left on its limit you should have a pretty good idea of who you're wanting to pick...

The onus should be on the GM who acquired the pick, why would you acquire the pick and not have at least someone in mind?

Ya if you are acquiring the next pick then obviously it's because you want someone with that pick.

Timer on the pick should remain the same despite teams trading.

If teams have a confirmed trade w/ BoG PMed, team with pick is allowed to draft despite no announcement if there are time constraints and no one is up to post.

Or, you know you won't be able to pick for a while then just leave a message of the player you want to select in the same chat so BoG can announce the trade and make the pick.

If you're trading up and you don't even know who to pick and you stall for 2 days, that's just stupid and killing the flow of the draft for no reason. If you trade up to the current pick you should have the player in mind ready to go, flow of the draft is important and that's why we have a timer.

Ya, it's just going to break the flow. So imagine 4 straight picks, then the pick gets traded and we have to wait 2 days because the GM doesn't know who to pick. That would just be wasting time.

^ Or imagine if someone gets the pick for cheap and then tries to get a better deal afterwards, could be waiting for 4-5 days for one pick.

That would be way worse. The clock should keep on running even if there's been 5 trades involving that pick.

Seriously, if your going to try to butter fry a steak, don't for any reason look at your pan and say "That butter is gonna burn before I get the steak in there...better lift if a meter off the stove.....

EDIT: it was perfectly marbled angus too.....the butter was just to sear in the juices so i could make it a good medium rare with a nice 'scortched' exterior....and i ended up scortched. Up side is a day off tomorrow, down side is 40 bucks worth of second skin and burn bandages..

Grill marks only bud, steaks needs an open flame.

Sorry to do this but my AGM is weirding me out we must name a replacement.

Firing/Hiring

San Jose Sharks have relieved Horvat of his AGM duties and have hired Cal and Gary's Phlegms as his replacement.
