Warhippy
Drouin is worth way more than any of these players.. lol I know...because he's done SO much in the league already..... Will people stop overvaluing prospects that haven't even played in the league?

And in one of the deepest drafts in years, Drouin will be valued highly.

And in one of the deepest drafts in years, Drouin will be valued highly. He would get buried in the west I think initially. I just don't see why people think anyone not named Mackinnon Crosby Gretzky Pronger Orr (get the idea) are so hot on selling the team for one of them and still thinking it wouldn't be enough. For every "next one" there was a last one and for every 3rd overall pick like Toews there was a 3rd overall pick like Cam Barker. Some risks are not worth the reward when you propose gutting the team to get them

Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

That's 4 out of 35 top-5 picks, less than %12.

timberz21
Stop thinking Ryan Kesler, will fetch us 3 first round picks.Pittsburgh got Sutter (yes an ex-first) but labelled as a third liner, + Pouliot (8th overall) for Staal. Whether or not Kesler or Staal is the best player isn't the debate, Staal has more value due to his age and what he accomplished already. We wont get a top 10 pick and a blue chip prospect for him. It's either a top15-30 pick with a blue chip prospect or a top 10 pick with a good prospect.
JohnScott
I know...because he's done SO much in the league already..... Will people stop overvaluing prospects that haven't even played in the league? K then lets trade Burrows, Hansen, and our 2015 1st to whoever drafts Ekblad BEFORE he does anything in the league. Cuz that's how it works, right?
