-Vintage Canuck-
He “had an awesome ride” though: Tom Poti announced his retirement today after 14 seasons in the NHL. The 37-year-old defenseman skated in 824 regular-season games for the Oilers, Rangers, Islanders and Capitals. He played in an All-Star Game in 2003 and won silver representing the United States in the 2002 Olympics. “I was very fortunate to play in the National Hockey League for 14 years,” said Poti. “It was a dream come true and I had an awesome ride and met so many great people along the way. I’d like to thank my family and my wife and children for all their love and support.” http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2014/05/01/poti-announces-retirement/

He's been completely off of the radar.
Master Mind
He's been plagued by injuries in recent years. He only played 16 games last year after missing the entire 2011-2012 season. It's a shame he wasn't able to play more, though hopefully he enjoys retirement.
