TheRussianRocket.
If any of you follow the NBA a bit, KD won the leagues MVP and gave his speech yesterday before today's round 2 series opener. The speech was unlike I've ever heard in sports for winning the award and it showed his true colours which everyone knows about but just cemented them even more. A true leader, a wonderful being, Durant gave an emotionally powerful speech and I'm sure I wasn't the only one struck by it. Take a look for it yourself: ...just breathtaking, wow. Powerful beyond words.
canuckfan_21
I'll admit. I lost it when he called his mom the real MVP. But not trying to be a dick for mentioning this, but his round two began a couple days ago. They got destroyed by the Clippers. This was the day off between games one and two
Madness
Yup saw it earlier. Amazing speech.

This was the day off between games one and two Oops, yea, mistakenly wrote that down. That's what I actually meant to say. As for the speech, you don't hear MVP's speak on behalf of others and not themselves. Speaks volumes of how humble KD is. Tremendous respect throughout the league and yesterday, what he said, it was a different level man.
Bang Bang Boogie
Wow, that was amazing. He just won the highest individual honor in the sport and still thanks everybody else and not take any credit. A true MVP. Lebron James can learn a lot from this guy.
drummer4now
KD is one of my favourite players right now. The guy is pure class all the way. Is it me or did Westbrook look a little jealous lol? He didn't seem into it like the others. Seattle got fleeced.
Tom Sestito
There's no one LBJ loves more than his mom. I don't think anyone loves their own mother more than LBJ @ Boogie
TheHitman
More than likely the best speech of all time. Such a fantastic and humble human being and very deserving of the MVP award. The league is his now.

DUKEskywalker
It was a great emotional speech. Shows the type of character this young man is. Glad to see him finally win MVP, this guy gets a lot of criticism for always finishing second behind LBJ or not winning his team games during crucial moments .. but a guy like him I would want on my team over lebron any do of the week. Goodluck to him in the playoffs he deserves the championship.
TheRussianRocket.
He was also showcased on the cover of sports illustrated not too long ago and the title page says it all: KD is becoming the best, thriving for greatness and doing it the right way with integrity, love, respect, and heart. No self gain and he cares dearly for everyone around him helping him. A class act, my 2nd fav bballer behind Kobe. This kid is the definition of a leader. So young, so poised, so sensitive and passionate, it's just unbelievable. There's no stopping guys like that. He's going to become a legend one day. Baercheese
KD even said his speech was inspired by DRose and Lebron's... great speech no doubt but hold off the GOAT talk until he wins some rings...
RealCanuckBoss
Kd definitely going down one of the greatest rings or not can't judge players as an individual through rings when its won by team performances my hats of to #35 http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb1ZvUDvLDY
250Integra
Thank you for sharing. Such a humble, selfless, and inspirational player that loves God first above all. Well deserving of a MVP title and hopefully a championship soon as well. The part with his mother is one of the most emotionally charged speeches I've ever heard.
