Mr.Proposal
To Vancouver -Kevin Shattenkirk To St.Louis - Ryan Kesler,2nd 2014 I think its a fair trade. We need a defenseman to play with Hamhuis. So PMD (Check) To Vancouver- Curtis Lazer, Mark Stone ,2nd 2015 To Ottawa - Alex Edler and Hansen I think Ottawa jumps at this deal. Van gets a great young center and right winger To Vancouver -Nathan Beaulieu To Montreal -Alex Burrows and Tom Sestito montreal adds a top 6 forward with size and leadership. And a 4th liner with grit van adds a PMD D.Sedin.H.Sedin.Jesnen Higgins-Santroelli-Kassian Horvat-Bolland-Callahan Matthais-Richardson-Kenins Hamhuis-Shattenkirk Garrison-Bieksa Beaulieu-Tanev Lack Markstrom Thoughts and Comments. Plum
I don't like the idea of getting Burrows for only Beaulieu because then we'd have Stanton and Corrado as depth which I don't like because they should be able to play in the NHL. Maybe for a guy like Plekanec. Our top 6 looks weak so I changed Beaulieu for Plekanec and I think the top 9 looks better with Callahan and Kassian interchangeable. Shinkaruk_9
I honestly think we're overpaying by adding the second in the Kesler trade to start off. Second, that is a recipe for failure, unless you're apart of the #Tank4McDavid club

Absent Canuck
Kesler is more valuable than Shattenkirk is No way Ottawa parts with Lazar short of giving up God for him.
qwijibo
Trade makes no sense for Montreal. Markov, Weaver, Boullion and Murray are all UFA this year. Markov is likely the only one who will return ( maybe weaver). Tinordi Beaulieu and Pateryn will likely spilt time filling in the vacant spots. Meanwhile Montreal has plenty of top 9 depth and Burrows without the twins is likely just an overpaid third liner. Other than being French he really doesn't bring anything to the lineup that they're sorely missing. And Sesito ? Montreal has White, Prust, Moen that can all contribute more offensively and step up physically. They may not be as tough. But they can hold their own
