Santo
I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Championship teams are unpredictable. It seems every man and his dog either sides with a "nitty gritty" big team, or a high skill, quick passing team. These teams have won cups, yes- but what about cup winners before them? Building an IDENTITY is what wins cups, not copying another one.

c00kies
I'm more sick of Boston Strong. Are they going to keep this every year?
EmployeeoftheMonth
There style is really just that they have good players. Build a hockey team that can skate hit score across 4 lines and stop the odd puck in the back end and you have a championship caliber team. I know there's more to it than that but it's really just about filling the roles needed.

Chicago leans more towards skill and LA more towards size but all the good teams are following the same basic "style" of some mix of good, fast, big, smart, skilled players throughout your lineup. The entire discussion is ridiculous.
Absent Canuck
I think we should develop a Vancouver style that other teams want to emulate.

Shinkaruk_9
Los Angeles has that kind of a team. Size, skill, defence, elite goalie, they have it all.

RogerEpic5
Is it me or am I the only one who still loves and enjoys the Bruins and Blackhawks style of play? It is so fun to watch these studs go at it. With the likes of Patty Kane and Jonathan Toews dangles and unique scoring ability, to Milan Lucic and his power forward style of game, it's truly exciting and amusing to watch these teams play on a nightly basis. I wish the Canucks had a style of their own. No more lame no-look passes from the Sedins although it's quite impressive how they do their share, more goal scorers and danglers, more of standing up for your teammates(Juice does a lot of that here in Vancity), and have more desire to win the cup. Like seriously when I watched the Canucks play majority of their nights after December, they've played like it was their first time playing hockey ever. The players should understand that in Vancity, we are hungry for the cup. We are tired of this ratchet AND old team. It's time to bring in the young guns and it's time bring the cup!
