OK since Pittsburg completely collapse do they want Kesler even more now?

Recommended Posts

This might have been posted before, but since it's well know pittsburg wanted kesler so they could roll 3 centres that were above average player. Now that they completely collapsed to NYR, does Kesler price increase to Pittsburg? or does it stay the same and the highest bidder wins?

Your use of English is killing me, but to answer your question I'd say yes. I think Pittsburgh might reconsider paying what the Canucks would want if Kesler were available and actually wanting to go somewhere else.

Spitball-time...

Malkin, Pouliot, Fleury.

Kesler, Edler, Lack, Gaunce, Hansen.(need to add a 2nd? NO WAY is it a 1st..hang up the phone if they mention it.)

If the twins eventually retire, we'd have Geno & Horvat to roll with. Both trade packages about 15 mill.

About NOW, Pitt believes in Swedish IKEA-'tending!

No, because they could very well go after David Bolland or Steve Ott, without giving up assets.

Anyone who thinks keeping Kesler will only benefit us in the long run aren't thinking clearly (stop thinking with your damn heart). Even if we stay competitive next season, do you guys honestly see us making out of the first two rounds of the playoffs, with the same core? We need/should ship him out now, while his value is still coveted by others and get younger assets back to set us for the post-Sedin era.

We need Benning as GM and Tim Burke as AGM.

Hire one of Trotz, Johnston, Blashill

Trade Edler and our 6th for 1st..draft Ekblad.

Trade Kesler to Pitt for Pulliot, Sutter and 1st.

Check out UFAs Stastny etc

Groom our youth, with simliar styles in in both the main club and the farm.

Trade Garrison and/or Hamhuis plus any other old timers..for 2015 1st round picks.

Sign Schneider at next years FA period.

Trade Lack for a mid 1st round pick for 2016.

Our future Dcore and Goaltending

Ekblad Tanev

Pulliot Cederholm

Stanton Bieksa

Corrado Hutton

Schneider

Ericsson

Edit: Make all our youth players watch Mtl vs Bos game 6 2014 playoffs and tell them they better play like how Mtl did, with robust speed, determination and net protection.

i do not want to trade kesler at all...if ever, i would like a superstar back....and scraps for malkin is not going to work....think kesler, horvat, 1st this year and the next to get malkin...like 4 1st round draft picks...and that might not get it done either...

anaheim has better assets and more to offer

shea theadore, 10th pick, 31st pick, Tor 2nd

Thats more than fair and if I were the canucks, I would consider that and try to package the 6th and the 10th for the 2nd pick

this is a weak draft and theodore is a good proscpect but not an A prospect
