-No NHL HC experience

-Assistant coach of Gulutzen in 11-12, is this why Gulutzen got Kassian going

Probably this guy or Stevens I would guess..Trotz is pretty much a lock for Washington...Canucks a little late to the party...

Talks between the Washington Capitals and Barry Trotz appear to be heating up.

According to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun, no deal is done but the two sides have intensified discussions about the head coaching position.

Wait a minute, did his years in Dallas cross with Gulutzen? If so, he was associate to Gully and now he might be head coach over Gully, interesting.

Willie's resume looks a lot like Gully's. Not sure if this guy has enough experience.

Maybe if we're patient and see this as a 3-4 year project but I recall Benning saying that he does want to turn this team around quickly.

Never thought of that

good connection. Apparently Gulutzan was kept on because he and Kassian really clicked, maybe it's proof Dejardins really is a guru with kids.

The Hawks beat us 2/3 years in the playoffs. I have determined the secret to their success was not elite top level talent or balanced depth: it was Joel Quenneville's sweet stache. That is the only logical conclusion I can draw...!

yeah, find that connection between him and Gully kinda odd. What exactly do associate coaches do anyways

on board for Stevens with better defense and under the wings of one the best coaches in the NHL and he himself has his own fair share of experience as head coach in Philly
