KK Rev to open for Foo Fighters?

Just was reading a KK Revving and there seems to be talk of this power trio touring with the Foo Fighters. I like the Foo Fighters but don't really know if they would want to go on after KK Rev (tough act to follow).

How much would you pay to see them live and what would be a good venue for them in Vancity? The Commodore might offer a small but intense setting, but the Rog would be turned into a fist pumping show like the 70s heydey of Chuck Berry.

Not in the band, just think this team need s a good aggressive rock song, no corporate bull crap. Back to the basics. can imagine Kes and Kass, Higgs,Burr,Lacks, and all the other awesome characters (cool nickname=character) blasting out onto the Rogers Place ice and being pumped up by some Rev!

Saying "wed really like to open for Foo Fighters, but we dont even know how to contact them" is not really "talk of touring together" Its more like wishful thinking. Theres a million garage bands that would love to open for Foo and KK Rev is a garage band. A good garage band but in this bieber/gaga world good garage bands stay in the garage.

i would not pay anything to see them, i think a proper venue for them would be on the seawall with an open guitar case in front of them with the hopes that they could each get a hotdog by the end of the day with their "earnings"

but seriously, is KK Rev satire? when they make news posts about how schedulers and venues don't return their emails and calls and stuff, is that a joke? Or...?

'if you like to drive 200m per hour and you don't give a sht, turn on a kk rev album and pin it'

is it satire?

Considering cabinessence's other posts are all about his Frank Drebin prank calls, they probably are.

Quite an astute observation, but still erroneous. Frank Drebin posts do come into play, but consider the entire body of work. Great game observations, many bass solos cued, and the odd tip of the hat to Michael Hunt and Richard Rising.

All kidding aside, KK Rev, much like KISS in their heyday is all business. Ace Frehley used to respond to critics who asked if they were serious with "Gosh darned right we're serious". It's that rock n roll attitude that KK Rev has adapted and made them the phenomenon they are today.
