Tips for passing aircare on old car

Just passed, barely on hydrocarbons.... after 200 bux in tune up..... spark plugs, oil, fuel filter, air filter, pcv valve

0.4470 / 0.5000 hydrocarbons LOL

Should of used Methyl Hydrate, it would have dropped the hydrocarbons to minimal levels. Nothing wrong with a good tune up though. The car will thank you with better gas mileage.

she's running a lot better, the spark plugs were black lol..... and the mechanic showed me the fuel filter, clear gas on coming out one side, brown gas coming out of the other.....dirty as hell

Yeah, I bet it's running a lot better. Good news is, you'll never have to make it pass aircare again.
