Makall
I want people to know that it was not Luongo, or AV or Mike Gillis that caused the destruction of the Canucks. It was the fans. Each of them are having great success since leaving the organization. AV is going to the Stanley Cup Finals again and the coach we swapped with... well he's got anger management issues and got fired for ACTUAL poor performance. It's easier to work/play when you don't have 1000s of people sending you death threats, telling you to leave, and booing you every single day. I'm positive now that we could've won the Stanley Cup that year if the whole city didn't criticize AV and Luongo for every single thing, each and every game. Hard to concentrate when under pressure (and possible death) by 1000s of people surrounding you (outside and inside). But you can't change the mentality of a whole city. This will continue even with the next set of people and it is why we will never win. People don't know what's good until they lose them. I wish AV and Luongo good luck and win a cup soon. They deserve it.
duc_evo
Gillis was a pretty horrible GM, that's why fans are so upset.
Jiggs50
Yes and no. But ultimately were struggling and Luongo and AV are in better positions to win...
Ehlers
Fans are unrealistic and not easily pleased. We could win a cup and we would be mad at how we won it.
nowhereman
Pressure is a part of being a professional athlete and one the biggest reasons there are so many zeros on your paycheck. Suck it up, buttercup.
Bure010
part of the reason this team has never won a cup, vast majority of the fanbase doesn't deserve to see it happen. that and for some reason no matter how much things to be in our favour something always seems to happen to make us not win
Grapefruits
Yep, lets blame the fans and not hold the team accountable. This team has been mismanaged for a while now, and now we get to see the results.

CanucksSayEh
They have it easy compared to some teams, in some sports out there.. which have won championships..recently..
Rahk
This team would be sitting nicely in the cup finals if Gillis took Nichushkin over Horvat. What an awful mistake.

We could win a cup and we would be mad at how we won it. 40+ years of embarrassment, failure and 3 Finals appearances. How are fans suppose to be act and feel. No-one would care how if they ever won it.

Kanucklehead10
Funny. It's a pity that fans can't be as rowdy as you describe them at actual Canucks games....
