Well it's officially 4 weeks in tell the Half of CDC says "O I think player X was a good selection" or "I told you that the Canucks would pick player X". So may as well start a thread on how many trades the Canucks will make at the draft. Any type of trade applies whether it's trading up, trading down, adding a pick, or trading a player

Enjoy

We have no track record to go by...this is his first GM gig...It will be interesting though,to see if he's a guy who is willing to pull the trigger...Guys like Tambellini in Edmonton were very reluctant to do so,whereas with Holmgren ,there was never a dull moment.

Pretty dull the past couple years with Gillis just managing to maintain the same team and keep them cap compliant

We do need to get younger and we need some change in the core to keep things interesting.

So far we've had some positive changes.

Linden, Benning, ????

I'm looking forward to what happens next and it's probably a new coach.

I hope LA losses to Chicago Sunday so we can have a crack at Stevens all the quicker.

I have a feeling he might make a splash at the draft and get the 1st overall pick then draft Reinhart to make his stamp on the team.

I don't find that scenario likely.....Benning doesn't seem like a splashy guy. I think it's much more likely he trades down if he's not enamored enough with who's available at #6.

If Kesler gets move only two other moves well happen at the draft...

The first line well get moved for picks

Edler well be moved.

Those picks well be used to move up to take first pick over all.

The Caucks well use #1, #6, and #10 to take a defenceman, a power forward, plus the best playmaker left at the #10 spot.

Gone after that via buyout is booth.

Canucks take another year off the playoffs, finish 2nd last for a shot at first pick in 2015 draft armed with two first plus two second rounders next draft year, they put together a solid team that has speed size plus skill on four lines making a push for the during the 2016 season.

This has been a experiment to see how the CDC would react to losing Kesler, Sedins, Burrows, and Edler in the same year.

Enjoy.

Hopefully he makes a few! I've suggested Kesler retained! I might even be crazy suggesting edler retained no more than 25%! If I could get a player like spezza one on one trade! Then flip Spezza for picks and prospects! I hear Nashville is interested in Spezza! Walk out of the draft with Draisaitl at 6th, Virtanen at 10th, Fabbri at 11th and one of Sanhiem or Demko at 36!
