nuckster33
Some really interesting and excellent coverage of the combine from the Oilers. http://oilers.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=721313 Link above. One thing I noticed, Ekblad is a monster, that kid is physically ready to be in the NHL. Enjoy
Anti-Bettman
Good coverage on leafs tv (http://video.mapleleafs.nhl.com/videocenter/console). Good formal interviews with a lot of the top players. nhl.com has some footage of the physical combine testing too (http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?hcatid=635) I agree Ekblad is by far the most physically fit out of the top 5. TheRussianRocket.
No surprise Edmonton of all teams would be covering the combine so extensively
Anti-Bettman
Wish canucks tv were posting videos. Flames tv actually had a segment where they filmed in the room during a few player interviews. Very cool to see.
YEGCanuck
Interesting stuff. I liked how Nylander handled the interview. Actually getting through a 2.5 minute conversation without using the word obvious, unlike most of the North American kids. Impressive, must be a European thing. Those are really common and require a strict consciousness to remove from repertoires.

Absent Canuck
Listened to all the interviews. I thought Kapenen showed the most poise and even a sense of humour. Ritchie sounded straight forward as did Nylander and Fabbri. Virtanen said 'obviously' 14 times during his interview but obviously as a hometown boy I am rooting for him. MJDDawg
Instead of giving us video of Benning and Linden driving in a car, it would have been nice if we got some combine coverage from our own team.

Agreed. I am still waiting to see how tall and weights of both Ehlers and Nylander.
nuckster33
Nylander seemed to have some swagger I liked that, maybe cocky but we need it Didn't see Ehlers in any of those Dal Colle seemed a but awestruck but I guess out of most of that group he hasn't see alot of media attention so makes sense Ekblad is already a pro, size, skill, and how he handles the media, amazing...that kid is HUGE!! Imagine what he'll be like in 4-5 years?
youngdad
Super impressed with Draisaitl's interviews. Very intelligent, respectful, confident yet humble.
viking mama
Ekblad reminds me of a young Chris Pronger. He should be the clear #1 selection. Draisaitl seems to be a salt-of-the-earth kid. He's intelligent, earnest, humble, respectful & full of gratitude. I believe this kid will be a hard-working responsible & accountable NHLer soon. He seems committed to becoming a proper Pro & interviews extremely well. If he's around when the 'Nucks pick...I will be ecstatic. Bennet & Reinhart remind me of Patrick Kane...both have some confident swagger...but no one has more swagger than Nylander. Dal Colle seemed to test extremely well but appeared to be mildly put-out or impatient during his interview.....an inkling of me-first bravado & attitude...or shades of Milan Lucic, maybe? I don't know how well all 6 of these prospects think the game out there...but Ekblad & Draisaitl appear in stature & size to be the most NHL ready. These interviews gave some insight into how the combine atmosphere & interview process attempts to flush-out the character & maturity of the invitees. Now to pour over some testing results....and knock-off a list for the top 10 ...& then see how close I get to the correct order on Draft Day. Don't forget "y'know?"...usually we all know what they're saying..and surely the interviewer knows, but they all say, "y'know?".. some mumble this after every statement.
