Piggy Bank
We hunt third overall. I really can't see Buffalo taking Reinhart 2nd. Reasons?? A) they just dragged two great Euro Center's, which Bennett would compliment well. Worse come to worst with those two, Bennett can move back of to C for them and take over. C) With the way they are running over there, they aren't looking for a future Bergeron, they looking for a future Patrick Marleau, who could play with a future Sidney Crosby. (McDavid) Tanev is a great safety for any team. He has Hamhuis potential, with the offensive upside you can see in his game. He would go smoothly with Edmonton's D and F Core's. Tanev is pretty easy going and can transition well. Gaunce has lots of opportunity to thrive in EDM. No 2-way C's. No 2 C even. Size which is needed. And offensive potential alongside Yak Ebs Hall and RNH. And well ofcourse we have to give up 6th Overall. I wont strt. The Trade. Brendan Gaunce, Chris Tanev, and 6th Overall for Edmonton's 3rd Overall.
canucks155
Reinhart is going in the top 2. Mark my words. We also overpay a bit by adding Guance. Edmonton is desperate to get some defsene and we should take advantage of that.

Alex Burrows 14
Gaunce can be cut out from that trade. Tanev & 6th should be enough. We get killed. Take out tanev and then maybe. Why does everybody underrate tanev so much?
William_Clarkson
We get killed. Take out tanev and then maybe. Why does everybody underrate tanev so much? It's more people underrating the top 5 picks or overrating the 6th pick. Tanev's a future top 4 shutdown guy and being traded with a most likely second liner (6th overall) for a first line center (Reinhart).
Langdon Algur
I don't think this is giving up too much for Rienhart but I think chances are he gets drafted in the top2, of the big 3 I think Bennet is most likely to fall.

Ok that's possible but anyone I the top 10 has the potential to be either a first line player or a bust aside from ekblad. You could get Nylander at 6th and he could be better then Bennett of Reinhart at 2nd or 3rd. Yoincould get Virtanen at 10th and he could be better then Bennett. The top 10 this year is a huge gamble. I wouldn't trade tanev who is a sure thing and is already amazing to move up 3 spots where you might get a worse player then at 6th. It just makes no sense to me. If I'm trading Tanev and 6th I want 1st overall so I can get Ekblad.
timberz21
PHI: Kesler, 1st (6) FLA/BUF: Schenn, Schenn VAN: Reinhart, 1st (17) ? Think about that for a minute, if you would have the 1st/2nd pick overall, would you really trade it for both Schenn's ??? Come on. And Philly Trade both Schenn's, 1st round pick for Kesler and 6th overall? They'd take it and run!
