Off-season changes(Propasal)

Recommended Posts

Now that Jim Benning is officially our GM, all we need to do is hire Stevens, or Desjardins. Hire Oates as our Assistant coach.

1st CHANGE

Kesler, Hansen (Van)

For

B.Schenn and 2014 1st round pick (PHI)

Flyers get a real second line centre and a third line player.

2nd CHANGE

6th overall pick, not enough then maybe Tanev or Corrodo (Van)

for

Florida 1st overall pick.

If they want to draft Ehlers, they could use the 6th overall pick. We draft Sam Reinhart with our 1st cause Reinhart is capable of drafting at first place. We need a future 1st line center to replace the Sedins. Benning reportedly has shown interest in Reinhart.

3rd CHANGE

Sign Niskanen in free agency.

4th CHANGE

Get rid of/Buyout Booth.

5th CHANGE

ReSign Santorelli and Kassian

Top Priorities

Sign Jonas Hiller or Miller for a short term deal.

Call up Bo Horvat as he looks ready to crack third line.

NISKANEN PLEASE.

CALL up Shinkaruk to the Utica

Call up Dane Fox to the Uitca and see if he can translate his point producing season there.

Send down Markstrom to Utica for 1 year.

Draft Joshua Ho-Sang with Flyers pick if they accept the deal.

2014/15 line up

Sedin/Sedin/Jensen

Burrows/Schenn/Kassian

Higgins/Horvat/Matthias

Sestito/Santorelli/Richardson

Hamhuis/Niskanen

Edler/Garrison

Stanton/Bieksa

Hiller or Miller

Lack

Feel free for any feedback or comments. This just my point of view and if Benning wants us to have 4 complete lines and if Trevor believes that we can make the playoffs next year, then this squad/changes should do the trick.

I acutally really like this. But I agree we need more from Philly

Schenn is great but I'd want more for Kes. Maybe Couturier and Laughton??

What about Morin instead of Laughton? Since he'd be redundant with Reinhart, Horvat, Couturier, Gaunce, Cassels, and Lain.

Canucks could probably grab a bit more from Philly.

Might need a bit more for first overall

I think Santorelli could make the 3rd line over Matthias, assuming he comes out of the gate like last year.

Tanev would be sent to Florida so he can't be in the lineup, but you also signed Niskaen so I'd do:

-Edler/Niskanen

-Hamhuis/Garrison

-Stanton/Bieksa
