Phi does not want to give up Couturier, but it has been reported they will do Schenn and a first.

Try to do Kesler staight up for Couturier; hopefully they take it; We need a couturier type to deal with the big centers in the west

Overpay and get Callahan to the westcoast, former captain, heart and soul lead by example type of guy, can replace Kesler's offence maybe gets an "A"

Booth is bought out, options galore to bring guys up from the minors Gaunce, Shinkaruk, Fox, Jensen, Lain...... if you don't work hard there's ample guys ready to take your job. Fit Schroeder where you can; 3rd line center maybe 2nd line depending on opponent, need to give him a solid chance before just letting him walk, dude was suppose to go top ten in his draft year, there's talent there for sure.

Staight up they might take it, most of the possible trades reported suggest canucks want multiple peices in a trade. I'm coming from the angle that people might think couturier for kesler one for one would be considered not enough value for kesler.

Couturier for Kesler straight up I'd do in a heart beat and I'm almost certain the Schenn that would be on the trade block would be Luke not Brayden if they were offering Brayden and their first next year for Kesler, you would have to be a complete fool to not get this trade done.

Couturier is better at the two way game, similar to Kesler how he can play in all situations, He's the guy they put on Crosby. Schenn is solid offensively, but in the tough pacific division you need guys to do the dirty work, that's Couturier.
