[Proposal] Van-Ottawa, Florida

Recommended Posts

To Van

Jason Spezza

4th

To Ottawa

Alex Edler - he played well with Karlsson at the olympics, probably the only place he might waive to go and still has pretty good value

Jannik Hansen

Jordan Schroeder - Schroeder will fare better in the east

To Van

Gudbranson

3rd

To Florida

Jason Garrison

Alex Burrows

They need players to start winning now and we get a big young defense man with lots of upside.

Sign Niskanen

Spezza-Sedin-Sedin

Kesler-Niskanen

The twins will have tons of right handed shooters to set up now.

2nd unit

Moulson-Horvat/Matth/Santo-Jensen

Kulikov-Bieksa

I don't know if the values are right, but we could almost become cup contenders with that line up. We would have two legit top lines and pretty much 2 third lines.

only way we get spezza is if KEsler is traded. Wouldn't be bad to replace Kesler with Spezza for a year, to give time to Horvat and Gaunce to develop, but the price would be too steep to get Spezza for only 1 year.

I don't see Spezza playing anywhere else than center. Would be like asking Henrik to play wing.

Kesler will not be here next season,

Spezza is old, soft and has 1 year left on his deal. Edler for Spezza on its own is a horrible trade for Canucks.

Rchardson Matthias Santorelli is not a 2nd line

Why do you assume Burrows and Garrison would happily waive their NTCs?

You have no clue.

I never said it was a 2nd line. It will be our 4th line...

Why would they want to stay if their gm didn't want them on the team anymore? Florida is a team that will be a cup contender soon and Luongo is also there.

Why would Garrison want to waive his NTC to go back to Florida when he took less money to come to his hometown? I thought we were getting younger and bringing in Spezza is not getting younger.

Your proposal is better than most I've seen in a long time... just not realistic though

twins are always number 1 pairing. don' t see them being 2liners... i doubt garrison will go back to florida, and why trade burrows?. and kesler still wants out.. he wants to be on a cup contender. not bad choices but i don't see it happening.
