-Vintage Canuck-
It is being rumored that Devils D Adam Larsson will return to Sweden next season rather than re-sign with the NHL club. Larsson is a restricted free agent and was not happy with his playing time this season: @Pammerhockey #Devils Adam Larsson may return to Sweden next season. Larsson was 4th overall and #1 D taken in 2011 draft, ahead of Hamilton and Brodin. @GregBallochST To clarify on earlier Adam Larsson report - it just said that he is 'close to a deal' in the SEL. Could be RFA playing hardball. #NJDevils
AriGold
Ilya left, Cory Schneider is looking to hit Free Agency, Larsson leaving, NJ may as well pack it up and move along at this point.

Intoewsables
Like that last tweet says, he's probably just playing hardball to make sure he's guaranteed NHL playing time next season. Tanev used the KHL as leverage last offseason; Larsson's likely doing the same.

Junkyard Dog
NJD has some pieces they could get a good return for if they ever decide to rebuild.
Gross-Misconduct
I was wondering if Larsson was going to return to Sweden.
Junkyard Dog
Still, there is a lot of potential in Larsson. He could look nice with Edler. NJD would want a lot though.

mcgillnuck
Trade him to the Oilers? Honestly, that would make a ton of sense. If they manage to pick Ekblad and trade for Larsson I'd finally start becoming worried about them exploding

Pears
Honestly, that would make a ton of sense. If they manage to pick Ekblad and trade for Larsson I'd finally start becoming worried about them exploding I'm getting scared just thinking of a top 4 of Ekblad, Larsson, Nurse, and Klefbom if they all reach their potential... TheRussianRocket.
That's one right in the balls. Pack up NJ, your time is soon to be up. Schneids might leave too, Ilya gone, fan fav Brodeur to leave. Well hey, at least they have Jagr right? ...on a more serious note, don't blame Larsson. Crap team, coach didn't let Adam play and gave the shorter end of the stick to him and it's kind of messed up his development. Can go back home, get back his game, and then potentially come back to the NHL and have the freedom to sign with another team if he's not an rfa that is. Would be the best case scenario for him really.
Watermelons
Don't draft Swedish players because they might go back to the SEL to play if things don't work out?!?!?! :emot-parrot: :frantic: :frantic: (I'm looking at you, Nylander!!)
Ehlers
Wow. Larsson is going to be a stud, NJ can't afford to lose this kid.
