solid night for the blues even we had a lot of zeros

goal scoring is not the problem of the team ..gelinas, atkinson, stempniak and jooris did it again ..lol

gryba and weber with good games

if our our team would work so all the time ...i wouldn´t be too worried

youngsters jooris and hoffman both on the pace for a 40 points or more year ..hope both players will keep things going

Watching the division race in the Atlantic Division is fun and I hope it stays that way all season with 34 points between Buffalo, Montreal, Boston and Ottawa.

Since I am not in that division I can stand back and throw peanuts at the monkey cage, Dance Monkey's Dance!

TRADE: The Winnipeg Jets have made a trade with the New York Islanders.

To WPG:

Brock McGinn

To NYI:

Cam Talbot

MTL 2015 3rd Round Draft Selection

The Islanders wish Brock the best of luck and it is with some regret that we felt forced to move him to address an area of weakness on the roster. The organization has no doubt he will be a full time NHL player in the near future.

With the injury to Gibson, and the likelihood of a minor league conditioning assignment afterwards, the Isles felt that getting a reliable backup keeper was a necessity.

In Cam Talbot we receive a goalie who we believe is still on the upswing in his career and is perfectly suited as an understudy. Another draft pick in the 2015 draft may also help to replenish our minors system. With this move the Islanders feel we've addressed the most important position in the foundation of our team.

We will now turn our attention to getting some of our unsigned picks under contract.
