Mike Vanderhoek
^^ atleast you can drive to the game, I drive but have to depend on the ferries which almost always means more cashola for someplace to stay. Otherwise I'd watch several games a year like I did several years ago.

Between time off work, cost of tickets, fuel, hotel and food... it costs me somewhere around $1,500-$1,800 bucks to go to a game.

Mike Vanderhoek
oh, nevermind then. If I play it right it could be maybe $ 30 for transit and then cost of tickets, stuff at the game. If I need to stay somewhere and theminister is still GM'ing the Islanders being a douche than can stay at Horseshoe Bay Motel for minimal unless I can get out to brother's in Burnaby if he is available. Mike Vanderhoek
Actually my bro lives right across from the metrotown skytrain station, he has had some major health issues including just coming out of a major surgery this week so other than being there for him I would never impose. PS: your offer is always very much appreciated theminister

Primal Optimist
two things: TM is awesome in person, even more so than here in text form....and also..the cost of getting to Vancouver plus the cost of a game = Royals seasons tickets. Support your local Dub and even if you don't go to every game, you have handy 'Here is some tickets cuz" handouts that buy a lot of love. haha. SO far I am loving the Royals games, and I love giving away the seats I don't use. Every game would be ridiculous even as a fan...but worth every penny this year.
