Azzy Mahmood
June 13th... take note, only one week left to use a compliance buyout, if you have one. Once the window closes on them on July 20th, compliance buyouts will be history. Keep in mind any player being bought out must clear unconditional waivers, which is a 48 hour window. i have one left, right?

Primal Optimist
Pleased to have Mr. Winnik on board for the next two years. He had a great season last year and we are looking forward to another one. Full press release will follow. PRIMAL OPTIMIST CAUGHT ON TAPE LEAVING MSG OFFICES: " .....Is a possession driven guy, that is why, we need possession, not more dumpers on our bottom six. The man registered 30 points, which is nice, but his wheelhouse is puck possession, affording our top six the rest they need, and he has the offense to be a threat to the other guys skating against hiim. He is hard to play against, has the puck on a string some nights, and we know we are getting 100% every night, every shift...but that is all I am going to say tonight on Daniel's strengths, watch the tapes, watch the tapes."
