Seven pounds soft
I think he will get his 9 games at the beginning of next year at least. Two 18 year olds in a row, starting with the canucks, would be a good start to the re.....tool. Anyways he is playing great ! Keep it up kid! VegasCanuck
Love how this kid seems to be able to take 2 strides and be at top speed. Really great acceleration! Looking forward to seeing how he does in camp next year, playing with and against NHL players!

Seven pounds soft
bo is 19...Who cares dude. You know what I mean. Edit : I like how he's tied for fourth in scoring after one game getting 4th line minutes and responsibilities Someone should get " Give Jake A Chance " trending on twitter. I would totally sign up and, like it or whatever. Edited December 27, 2014 by Seven pounds soft
Off_The_Schneid!
Virtanen will be clutch against the better teams with a couple solid d pairings that could potentially shut down the first couple lines. His game will translate well not like the finesse plays by domi and duclair who will struggle against a team with defense

The Finnish teams always play solid defensive hockey and are tenacious on the forecheck. They have one of the best coaching systems in the world, as their teams always seem to punch in above their weight (no offense to the many talented Finnish hockey players). Brick Tamland
Jake should make things very interesting in next year's training camp. I honestly think he makes it. His skill set we do not have (other than an underachieving and disinterested Kassian). I could think of 5 guys I would replace with JV in this year's line up. However, if he isn't ready i will be another year of Jr and wjc
MoneypuckOverlord
I see a Dustin Brown type of player in Virtannen. A hitting player that will put up second line points, but hitting lots. Virtannen will probably not outscore a lot of guys that were drafted ahead of him, but he will be a very effective intimating player that will produce score goals with his wrist shot, and force other teams star dmans to "watch their backs" when Jake the Snake is out there ready to slam them good to the boards. Jake Virtannen will end up being Don Cherry's type of player.

SamJamIam
NIce words from Bobby there. I love absolutely love how they just figured that Ritchie can;t keep up with McDavid... Well he can't. He looks completely out of place. I think Ritchie will actually look pretty decent with Gauthier and Crouse. They all play a very simple, physical game.
