Yaroslavl is 250 km northeast of Moscow. If the allegations are proven to be true, one would think he'll never play in the NHL again. But even if he does, one must wonder if being forced to play overseas and being dropped by his hometown team percolate in his head enough to dedicate himself to the craft. I'd be interested to see if any team takes a flyer on him in the future but I doubt it. D'Angelo somehow scored a contract despite being a well known team cancer so maybe Jake can, the difference really is production.
